For Oct. 2/12 Read again, "The Lamp at Noon" and take notes/quotes for the 2 paragraph questions about how Sinclair Ross, the author, used nature and setting to strengthen the theme and symbolism of the story. Note the good copy of each paragraph will be due at the end of Oct. 2 class.

Review the 3 types of irony and be able to recognize them.
Reread "The Story of an Hour" and highlight the use of irony within it.
Make sure journal entries are complete and up to date for Oct22/12
Short Story prresentations should now be completed. Nov. 19/12 If you missed your group's presentation due to absence , see me for a make up activity.
Be sure to complete each other's assignments and activities for Nov. 21/12. Marked work needs to be submitted by Nov. 25/12. Be certain to use a clear criteria, when peer marking!
